New Moroxico: The Journey Begins

The concept of New Moroxico quickly expanded to include all my favorite worldly things far beyond the simple blending of just Mexican and Moroccan design.

Even MORE THAN MOORISH, it became a playful fusion of so many disparate cultures, that I dare say it sometimes teeters on the brink of pure FANTASY.

Still, I bristle when people throw around words like MAXIMALISM or — god forbid — ECLECTIC, as I feel they belie the cohesion and painstaking nuance that were necessary to achieve a very singular vision.

The aesthetics of New Moroxico might very well be all over the map, but even so, it is always a very focused journey.
